Debrox® Ear Health Tips

Contrary to what most people think, earwax is beneficial to the body. It keeps the ear clean and protects the inner ear by trapping dirt particles, dust and bacteria. For most people, earwax does not cause a problem but occasionally it builds up and can lead to complications. Excessive earwax can block the ear canal leading to ear discomfort, itching, partial loss of hearing and other conditions.

Using Debrox® can help gently and safely clear out excessive earwax. Do not use cotton swabs to remove earwax. This can do more harm by pushing the earwax deeper into the ear canal, risking damage to the eardrum and lining of the canal. Try not to get water, soap or shampoo in your ear canal and keep your ears dry. When you rinse your hair, keep your head down with your chin toward your chest or pull the outside of your ear down over the ear canal. After swimming or showering, shake your head to remove water from the ear canal and gently dry your ears with the corner of a tissue or towel.

Ears play an important role in your everyday life. It is essential to take care of them and keep your ear health a priority. If you find you have prolonged ear pain or irritation please consult your physician.
